A hands-on workshop with Tobías Sanchez, Portfolio Manager at Cocos Capital, on how a portfolio is actually run: how a PM thinks when deciding where the next peso goes. We'll cover asset allocation and portfolio construction, active management and benchmarks (how to beat the market), risk management (diversification, volatility, VaR, correlation, and beta), performance evaluation with the Sharpe ratio, and top-down vs. bottom-up asset selection: from strategy to investment. No prior knowledge required: the workshop is interactive and built for starting from scratch.
