Knowing about finance is only the beginning.
Now it's time to put it into practice.
Some things are learned by studying. Others are only understood when it's time to analyze, decide, and act. That's why, in the Galicia FinClub Challenge, the market becomes the next classroom: a space to move from theory to action and take on challenges inspired by situations from the financial world.
Through three competition tracks, Portfolio Management, Trading Futures, and Investment Banking, you'll be able to dive fully into the experience, take on different roles, build strategies, and make decisions as a team.
You'll also get a close look at how we build the future of finance at Galicia, combining technology, data, strategy, and business to find new answers to real challenges.
The challenge is to discover how far you can take your talent. And Galicia FinClub Challenge is the stage to prove it.
Each finance club may nominate one team of up to 6 people for each competition track.
Teams take on the role of analysts and investors: they research opportunities, make investment decisions, and manage a simulated US$ 1 million portfolio using the Bloomberg platform. With training and platform access, the challenge tests their ability to analyze markets, work as a team, and build the strategy that achieves the best results.
Teams take on the role of traders: they trade futures and options, analyze market opportunities, and build strategies to maximize their portfolio's results. With professional tools and an A3 simulation environment, the challenge tests their ability to make decisions, manage risk, and adapt to a market in constant motion.
Teams take on the role of research analysts: they investigate a listed company, analyze its business, evaluate its financial performance, and develop an investment recommendation based on public information. The challenge culminates in a professional report and the presentation of their conclusions before a jury of specialists from CFA Society Argentina and Galicia, testing their analysis, argumentation, and communication skills.

Training and learning sessions to build the knowledge that will help you solve the Challenge.
Asynchronous
Working period in which teams develop their projects and prepare their presentations. During these weeks they also receive support from Bloomberg, CFA, and A3 to expand their knowledge.

Final day, when the teams find out the winners of each category.
The competition is between finance clubs: the Di Tella Finance Club fields one team per competition track. Fill in the form to apply: you can sign up alone or with teammates you already have in mind; everyone has to fill in the form individually.
The Finance Club team will select the members of each team from those who sign up. If you're selected, we'll let you know.
It's a competition: signing up is a commitment to take part in every stage, from the Kick Off to the Closing Event.
